Long Deep Breathing For Stress Relief

One of the most effective skills for managing stress is readily available to all of us in our bodies through our natural process of breath. This particular style of breath, called Long Deep Breathing, has research to back it up too! Plus, it's free and can be used anywhere, at any time!

The steps are:
-Sit in a comfortable position with a straight spine, shoulders relaxed and chest open. 
-Inhale fully so your belly expands and makes a Buddha Belly then, 
- Using your naval point, gently push the air out with your exhale. Inhale for 4 counts, 
hold for one count, 
exhale for 4 counts, 
hold for one count and repeat.
